|Match||Royston Town v Chatteris Town|
|Competition||Ridgeons Youth League: West Division|
|Royston Scorers||Booth, Duffin(2), Bond, Wooding (pen), Brennan|
A fine footballing performance from the Young Crows saw them convincingly defeat Chatteris Town and remain unbeaten in their last four league games. In fairness but for fine goalkeeping, the woodwork on 3 occasions and some adverse finishing the final scoreline could have been much much higher.
Royston scored three goals in each half taking the lead inside two minutes when Jake Booth beat the offside trap to clinically finish from 18 yards. George Duffin doubled the lead with a good individual goal before Daniel Bond headed in a good cross from Ellis King before half time.
Duffin added his second and Royston's fourth in the second half converting Matt Brennan's through ball before Chatteris got a consolation midway through the half with a crisp 12 yard finish from a half cleared cross.
Mitchell Wooding converted a penalty following a handball before Matt Brennan completed the scoring late on with a good bit of individual work and close range finish.
